November is Financial Literacy Month in Canada and Good Learning Anywhere will be promoting and educating adult learners about the importance of making informed decisions with their money.
On Monday November 5th, 2012, at 10:30 am EST, Good Learning Anywhere is offering a free Financial Literacy Online class for adult learners who want to learn about financial literacy, positive spending habits, budgets, credit cards, and saving for the future. This 2 hour session, LIVE in Centra, will also be used as a discussion forum to share resources, tools and tips for these topics.
We will also preview two upcoming classes in November: Money Management (Live Class) & Consumer Mathematics (Independent Learning – Plato).
Throughout November, Good Learning Anywhere will be using our Facebook Page to connect and share information on financial literacy topics. Like Us on our page to get started.
In order to participate, you will need a computer that has Internet access and preferably a headset with a microphone. If you do not have a computer you can attend a Contact North Online Learning Centre, Friendship Centre, Ontario Public Library or a literacy and learning centre near you. All we require from you to sign up is your name and email address.
