is an Aboriginal recording artist based out of Thunder Bay, with 3 albums, multiple awards and a strong connection to her community and fans.
Drew Hayden Taylor
Mr. Taylor is part Ojibwa and part Caucasian, is a Canadian playwright, author and journalist from Curve Lake First Nation.
Dr. Emily Jane Faries
Originating from the James Bay area, she is a member of the Moose Cree First Nation and has worked tirelessly on revitalizing the traditional spirituality.
Nikki Shawana
A member of Wikwemikong First Nation, she is a dancer and a mother to two children, Nikki achieved her secondary diploma through online, distance education and is attended 6 nations Polytech in the fall.
Delbert Jay R. Johnathan
A member of Six Nations – Mohawk Nation, He is an artist, musician, dancer and addictions worker for Native Horizons Treatment center.
Shirley Pheasant Williams
A residential school survivor and a member of Wikwemikong First Nation, she has been a lifelong student and teacher and is a respected Elder.
